ICT
Information and communication technologies (ICTs) are currently used worldwide as tools for educational purposes. Examples of ICTs used are computers and internet. Both of these types of ICTs are used to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of education in Brunei.
Most school teachers used PowerPoint as their main teaching tools. As an example, the teacher shows more examples on types of forces via animation from internet (animation of a football player kicking a ball). Thus, students can easily visualized all these types of forces and relate them to their daily life. The teacher also used computer and internet for the educational games i.e. flash cards. It was seen that the students were eager to answer the questions as they found it exhilarating and lively.
Teacher used computer to show a video showing a metal hammer and feather fall at the same speed on the moon. This cannot be done in the laboratory as vacuum pump was no available.
